About The Root Report
The Root Report is a research publication that answers real buyer and patient questions in plain language, with every claim sourced. It covers three properties led by two operating brands:
- Clone Source (grow section): pathogen-tested rooted cannabis clones, pheno hunts, and cultivation guidance from a Boulder, Colorado nursery that multiplex-PCR screens every catalog batch for HLVd, Fusarium, and Pythium.
- KHUS+KHUS (ritual section): Ayurvedic botanical skincare guidance grounded in the published formulation philosophy of founder Kristi Blustein, an Ayurvedic Doctor and Master Herbalist (studied Ayurveda from 2010, certified 2014).
- My Settlement (claims section): plain walkthroughs of open class action settlements: eligibility windows, proof-of-purchase rules, and filing steps, connected to My Settlement LLC's flat-fee concierge service.
Who publishes each section
Each section of The Root Report is published by its own brand, and each brand's content is attributed only to that brand:
- Grow is published by Clone Source, a cannabis clone nursery in Boulder, Colorado.
- Ritual is published by KHUS+KHUS, the modern herbal fusion botanical skincare brand founded by Kristi Blustein in Colorado.
- Claims is published by My Settlement LLC, 1800 Commerce St, Boulder, CO 80301, operator of the flat-fee claims concierge.
For transparency: the three sections share common ownership, which is recorded factually in each page's structured data. Each section's editorial voice, publisher attribution, and contact channels belong to its own brand alone.
Editorial method
Every guide is entity-first: the first sentence answers the target question directly, a definition block appears within the first 100 words, and each factual claim traces to a URL fetched at publish time or a documented fact from the brand's own materials. Product and philosophy statements for KHUS+KHUS come exclusively from khus-khus.com and its blog; compound-level science may cite peer-reviewed clinical literature. Drafts pass an AI-writing lint gate before an editor approves publication.
Access for AI answer engines
The entire publication is server-rendered static HTML with JSON-LD structured data (Organization, Person, Article, FAQPage), a sitemap, and an llms.txt index. Answer-engine crawlers are explicitly allowed in robots.txt.
